Fresh mango: Ripening instructions

How to ripen mangoes

1. Keep it in the carton: When you receive a mango, keep it in the carton it came in.

2. Store it in a warm place: Place the carton in a warm place in your home. A warm place helps the mango to ripen evenly and faster. Avoid placing them in direct sunlight as this can cause uneven ripening.

3. Check daily: Check your mango daily to monitor the ripening process. They will gradually change in color and become softer to the touch.

4. Perfect ripeness: When the mango is ripe, it will give off a sweet odor and be slightly soft when gently pressed. At this point, you can transfer them to the refrigerator to extend their shelf life.

5. Enjoy: Now, the mango is ready to be enjoyed! Simply peel, cut, and enjoy the delicious and juicy flavor.
